Eagles enjoy the accommodations & good fishing at Shangri-La Shores too! This fabulous photograph of one of our eagles is by Drew Williams on Roberts Bluff road. See another one of his eagle photos on the homepage slideshow.

Just a quick note to let you know that the Board of Trustees contact #s on our "Information" page have been corrected. If you printed the last one, please update your copy. Thank you!
Saturday May 31st: our community meeting begins at 10:00 am at the Race Road fire station. We'll need a few more chairs, so please bring a folding chair or two if you can.
We hope all of you will be able to come to our annual Shangri La potluck party at the picnic area following the meeting. Bring your serving utensils and a salad, appetizer or main dish to share. Everything else will be supplied. Many thanks to Valerie Miller-Dennis for coordinating our picnic again this year! So get off that hammock and come join your neighbors for an afternoon of yummy food and fun. The community worked together to install and landscape the Shangri-La Shores sign at the head of Arbor Drive. Art Paulsen's father made the sign and Jim Magnusson gave it a beautiful roof. The landscaping crew is shown posing below. Compare this photo to the one one the "About Us" tab. How the plants have grown! Left to Right: Jim Magnusson, Jim White, Betty Paulsen, Ginny Walters, Norm Walters, Faye Magnusson
What's bright yellow with a black forehead, white edged black wings and a white rump? The male American Goldfinch. Goldfinch females will find these beautiful males irresistible and nesting in Shangri La should begin soon!
